Amelia Gier began her career as a graphic artist in a national agency immediately after graduating from Seattle Pacific University in 2009. She and her husband relocated to Nashville, Tennessee in 2012 and continued her agency work there, until she was inspired by several acquaintances who had successfully sold their art on Etsy.com. Amelia was surprised to find that her art was received well by the Etsy marketplace. She has since returned to the Northwest with renewed love for the mountains and water. Her shop, A Gier Design, has now replaced agency work and is her full-time job, and her husband’s part-time job too. She is incredibly grateful to be able to create art for her customers, and she is committed to the concept of spreading love and good feelings through meaningful and artistic gifts and home decor.
