Marking Rebellion

Marking Rebellion

This is

A scream

Shouted from

Inside

Bursting

Through

Reprogrammed lack of

Understanding

Basic decency

Now uncommon

Regarded as

Deviant

Wrong

Marking

the Kims
the Kims

Rebellion

Sliced with

Tongue

Scorched

Throat

Eyelids

Melted

Rewards that cannot

Actually be attained

There are times

When wanting comfort

Can seem

Lazy

When people are

Afraid

Of their own shortcomings

Selfishness is

Why

The rest of the world

Hates

Us

We

(America)

Are

Entitled

Not all of us

But

Enough

Creating

A funny residue

the Bruce and Caitlyn
‘Jenner 2.0’

Man Invisible

Many

Mixed

Minorities

Feel

Invisible

Blending

Feelings of

Inadequacy

Memories of

Perceived

Childhood

Inferiority

Longing to

Disappear

Into the

Air

The most

Obvious

Escape
